{"id":100026,"date":"2022-10-06T08:09:44","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T07:09:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=100026"},"modified":"2022-10-06T08:09:44","modified_gmt":"2022-10-06T07:09:44","slug":"buhari-welcomes-release-of-abducted-train-hostages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/buhari-welcomes-release-of-abducted-train-hostages\/","title":{"rendered":"Buhari Welcomes Release Of Abducted Train Hostages"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his happiness and satisfaction, and that of the entire nation with the military as well as other security agencies on the safe release of the remaining 23 kidnapped train passengers.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The affected passengers were held in captivity by Boko Haram terrorists over six months ago.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Buhari expressed his appreciation in a statement by his media aide, Malam Garba Shehu in Abuja, in reaction to the news of the safe release of the hostages, in line with his earlier directives.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;The nation owed the military and all other security and intelligence agencies a debt of gratitude for the successful conduct of the operation leading to the release of the hostages,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He affirmed that the agencies had shown outstanding capabilities that the whole world would not fail to take note of.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cThis country\u2019s Armed Forces are as good as any.
