{"id":100732,"date":"2022-10-27T07:48:15","date_gmt":"2022-10-27T06:48:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=100732"},"modified":"2022-10-27T07:48:15","modified_gmt":"2022-10-27T06:48:15","slug":"ive-forgiven-osinbajo-tinubu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/ive-forgiven-osinbajo-tinubu\/","title":{"rendered":"I\u2019ve forgiven Osinbajo\u2013 Tinubu"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu said he has forgiven Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu stated this in Kano, while addressing some political support groups loyal to Osinbajo during the APC presidential primaries.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nAccording to Tinubu a man who asks forgiveness from God, he must be willing to forgive others.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nTinubu said he has nothing against the vice president as he assured that he will work with everybody.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHe noted that he visited the Osinbajo at his house after the primaries, and also interacted with him during the ministerial retreat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have nothing against him. I have been to his House after the primaries. I have seen him on the day of the goodwill message to the retreat organised by the president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd a man who forgives\u2014a man who asks for forgiveness from Allah fully deserves forgiveness. If you cannot give forgiveness, how are you asking from Allah? To me, it is over,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>During a meeting, Coordinator of the Drone Marshall Support Group, Alwan Hassan had urged Tinubu to work with Osinbajo and other presidential aspirants who ran against him at the primary election on 8 June.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cWe made consultations with your friends and even your enemies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes, all of them speak of one good quality about you. Most of them have agreed that you stood out as being patient and forgiving whosoever offends you in politics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to see more of public participation between you and the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and all other aspirants that contested against you. You are the candidate, you have won,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Hassan assured that all the group will work for the APC candidate.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that Osinbajo was one of the presidential aspirants who ran against Tinubu in the APC presidential primary election held in June.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from Osinbajo, other 13 presidential aspirants included the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State and his Kogi State counterpart, Yahaya Bello.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nOsinbajo, a political ally of Tinubu, served as attorney general and commissioner for justice when Tinubu was governor of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007.<\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"adL\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu said he has forgiven Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
