GROUP Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr. Andrew Yakubu,has said he\u00a0 would review audit reports of the activities of the corporation over the last five years.<\/p>\n
He made the disclosure at his inaugural town hall meeting with management and staff at the NNPC Towers, saying his administration would ensure the security and rehabilitation of key pipeline infrastructure to guarantee efficient supply and distribution of petroleum products across the country.<\/p>\n
The group managing director (GMD) also said the corporation would, henceforth, build a comprehensive information data base to improve its performance.<\/p>\n
\u201cNNPC will have a zero tolerance for corruption and cases of corrupt practices will be severely dealt with in accordance with extant laws,\u201d Fidelis Pepple, acting Group General Manager, Public Affairs Division of the NNPC quoted the GMD as saying.<\/p>\n
