{"id":101919,"date":"2022-12-12T16:19:20","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T15:19:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=101919"},"modified":"2022-12-12T16:19:20","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T15:19:20","slug":"hit-and-run-driver-kills-ex-lagos-govs-son-while-cycling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/hit-and-run-driver-kills-ex-lagos-govs-son-while-cycling\/","title":{"rendered":"Hit-and-run driver kills ex-Lagos gov\u2019s son while cycling"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">The deputy managing director and co-founder of Vetiva Capital Management, Olaolu Mudasiru, has reportedly died after being hit by yet-to-be-identified driver.<\/p>\n<p>Pointblanknews.com gathered Mudasiru was killed on Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident while cycling with two other persons on the Bourdilion road in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.<\/p>\n<p>The Vetiva co-founder was also the first son of Gbolahan Mudasiru, a former military governor of Lagos state, who died in 2003.<\/p>\n<p>The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident to our correspondent.<\/p>\n<p>Hundeyin, however, said nobody has been arrested in connection to the accident.<\/p>\n<p>Mudasiru was an investment banker with extensive experience covering stockbroking, asset management and other aspects of investment banking activities.<\/p>\n<p>He held an MSc. in International Securities, Investments and Banking from the ICMA Centre of The University of Reading, UK, an M.B; B.S. Degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria, and he was an alumunus of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.<\/p>\n<p>He was a Dealing Member of the London Stock Exchange, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria as well as being a member of the Medical &amp; Dental Council of Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>He was also a recipient of the Chevening Scholarship, which is granted to \u2018mid-career high flyers\u2019 globally by the British Government.<\/p>\n<p>Mudasiru was quite versatile and his 16 years of experience span the spectrum of investment banking covering wealth management, financial intermediation, trading &amp; dealing and executing various transactions in the financial services industry.<\/p><\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The deputy managing director and co-founder of Vetiva Capital Management, Olaolu Mudasiru, has reportedly died after being hit by yet-to-be-identified driver.
