{"id":102226,"date":"2022-12-30T14:09:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-30T13:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=102226"},"modified":"2022-12-30T14:09:00","modified_gmt":"2022-12-30T13:09:00","slug":"dg-peter-obi-campaign-organisation-osuntokun-has-since-resigned-from-zenith-labour-party-dan-nwanyanwu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/dg-peter-obi-campaign-organisation-osuntokun-has-since-resigned-from-zenith-labour-party-dan-nwanyanwu\/","title":{"rendered":"DG, Peter Obi Campaign Organisation, Osuntokun has since resigned from Zenith Labour Party \u2013 Dan Nwanyanwu"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, the National Chairman\/Presidential Candidate of Zenith Labour Party, has said that the controversy generated by the appointment of Mr Akin Osuntokun as the Director General (DG) of Peter Obi Campaign Organisation was uncalled for.<\/p>\n<p>According to Nwanyanwu, Osuntokun resigned from the Zenith Labour Party since August 2022 and \u201ctherefore no longer a member of our party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prior to his resignation from ZLP, Osuntokun held the ticket as a senatorial candidate in Ekiti State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs at the time of his resignation, we could not replace him because the window allowed by the Electoral Act for substitution had elapsed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hold no grudges because it is his fundamental right to associate and exit from any organisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wish him well in his new found greener pasture.
