{"id":103068,"date":"2023-02-07T19:00:01","date_gmt":"2023-02-07T18:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=103068"},"modified":"2023-02-07T19:00:01","modified_gmt":"2023-02-07T18:00:01","slug":"atiku-pledges-to-exploit-petroleum-in-bauchi-receives-kwankwasiya-defectors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/atiku-pledges-to-exploit-petroleum-in-bauchi-receives-kwankwasiya-defectors\/","title":{"rendered":"Atiku pledges to exploit petroleum in Bauchi,\u00a0receives Kwankwasiya defectors"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1757194962488346238\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Obiora Ifoh, Abuja<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has promised the people of Bauchi State to exploit the petroleum discovered between Bauchi and Gombe for the benefit of the people when elected as next Nigeria&#8217;s president come February 25, 2023.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Atiku disclosed this while speaking to party supporters at the Tafawa Balewa Township Staduim in Bauchi at the presidential campaign rally\u00a0 on Tuesday.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Atiku also stated that the he will set aside $10 billion dollars for the youths and women to set up small scale businesses.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The presidential candidate also received hundreds of defectors from NNPP and Labour Party including senior party officials.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The former vice-president stated &#8220;I have also pledged that the petroleum that has been discovered between Bauchi and Gombe will be exploited to the benefit of the people. I have also pledged to set aside $10 billion for youths and women to receive loans to set up their small and medium business enterprise for self-employment.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The PDP flag-bearer appreciated the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed for constructing roads, schools, hospitals and among others.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking to supporters the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu noted that the PDP is the medicine the people need that will cure their hunger and for their children who don&#8217;t go to school, when Atiku becomes the next president of Nigeria.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ayu stressed &#8220;I bring you medicine for all your problems, medicine for hunger, medicine for insecurity, medicine for your children not going to school. That medicine is PDP under the leadership of President Atiku Abubakar.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He further remarked, &#8220;Today everybody who ran away is coming back. We have just received everybody from the Kwankwasiya, I don&#8217;t need to come to Bauchi and campaign.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking earlier the Director General of the presidential campaign council Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, stated the the PDP presidential is the candidate that has the capacity to develop the country, because of his resourcefulness and knowledge.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He said, &#8220;here is a man who has the capacity to turn things around. A man who has the knowledge, very resourceful, the man who has the empathy to do things right.
