I condemn any form of violence or political thuggery; and especially the incessant attack on my Obidient supporters\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He called on the security forces nationwide to protect those exercising their fundamental rights of free speech and assembly, warning that the people\u2019s civil space must not shrink further than it is already.<\/p>\n<p>At the rally, Obi told Lagosians that he and Datti are coming to revolutionize governance and create a new Nigeria where people will be each and security.<\/p>\n<p>The former Anambra state Governor told the visibly excited and thrilled crowd that he and his Vice are more qualified than anybody in the race in so many ways \u2013 competence, capacity, antecedents, and capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that \u00a0both \u00a0of them are coming from the private sector and have paid their dues,<\/p>\n<p>He noted that they \u00a0have no dented records as their antecedents and past \u00a0in all areas are verifiable.<\/p>\n<p>He said that they will take Nigeria away from sharing to production in line with their consumption-to-production policy designed to provide jobs to millions of youths in their productive age and pull people out of poverty.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking specifically about Lagos, the nation\u2019s commercial hub, Obi said that in revolutionizing governance, the hiccups at the seaports will be addressed and an enabling environment created for businesses to thrive.<\/p>\n<p>The LP flag bearer reminded the mammoth crowd that\u00a0February 25, 2023, Presidential election is going to be different, as it would be based on competence, character, and competence of candidates not on tribe, religion, or my turn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the turn of Nigerians to take back their country and reposition it for a huge role in the comity of nations.\u201d He said<\/p>\n<p>Other speakers at the rally such as his \u00a0running \u00a0mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmad, LP National Chairman, Bar Julius Abure among others, buttressed the fact that a new Nigeria is possible through Obi-Datti and the Labour Party<\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi haa preached non-violence electioneering and promised a new Nigeria where the people will sojourn in peace and harmony.
