{"id":104032,"date":"2023-04-03T15:33:57","date_gmt":"2023-04-03T14:33:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104032"},"modified":"2023-04-03T15:33:57","modified_gmt":"2023-04-03T14:33:57","slug":"two-killed-in-kaduna-violence-govt-imposes-24hrs-curfew-on-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/other-news\/two-killed-in-kaduna-violence-govt-imposes-24hrs-curfew-on-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Two killed in Kaduna violence; Govt imposes 24hrs curfew on community\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">A 24-hour curfew has been imposed by the Kaduna State Government on the Sabon Garin Nasarawa-Tirkaniya area of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State to restore orderliness in the area following clashes among local armed gangs that claimed 2 lives.<\/p>\n<p>Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, in a terse statement on Monday, stated that\u00a0\u201cthe Kaduna State Government hereby announces the immediate imposition of a 24-hour curfew on Sabon Garin Nassarawa-Tirkaniya area of Chikun LGA.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\u201cThis decision was reached following a breakdown of law and order which led to the killing of two citizens in an incident of urban gang violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecurity agencies have been directed to enforce the curfew in the said location, to restore order as investigations proceed.
