{"id":104112,"date":"2023-04-06T16:09:56","date_gmt":"2023-04-06T15:09:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104112"},"modified":"2023-04-06T16:09:56","modified_gmt":"2023-04-06T15:09:56","slug":"gandujes-selfishness-reason-why-apc-lost-kano-adamu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/gandujes-selfishness-reason-why-apc-lost-kano-adamu\/","title":{"rendered":"Ganduje&#8217;s selfishness reason why APC lost Kano &#8211; Adamu"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Adamu, said the party\u2019s loss in the March 18 governorship election in Kano state was as a result of selfishness.<\/p>\n<p>Adamu disclose this in an interview with BBC Hausa on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that the APC governorship candidate, Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, lost to Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHe said: \u201dKano is among the states that we beat our chests and said that this is ours, because whatever we do, Kano is at the top of our list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut because of selfishness, we found ourselves in this situation. We shouldn\u2019t have lost Kano, but everything that happened to a person, God knows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had warned all APC governors in Nigeria to do away with any form of selfishness before the election, and we think it is that selfishness that led us to lose in a state like Kano,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Adamu blamed APC\u2019s loss on those who, according to him, refused to do what they were told to do.<\/p>\n<p>The APC chairman, however, said when the election noises die down, the party would take action against the erring members.<\/p>\n<p>Adamu added that, God willing, the supplementary elections in Adamawa and Kebbi will be in APC\u2019s favour.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Adamu, said the party\u2019s loss in the March 18 governorship election in Kano state was as a result of selfishness.
