{"id":104159,"date":"2023-04-10T19:00:16","date_gmt":"2023-04-10T18:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104159"},"modified":"2023-04-10T19:00:16","modified_gmt":"2023-04-10T18:00:16","slug":"breaking-suspected-yahoo-boy-crushes-4-to-death-in-ondo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/breaking-suspected-yahoo-boy-crushes-4-to-death-in-ondo\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: Suspected \u2018Yahoo Boy\u2019 Crushes 4 To Death In Ondo"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Four persons were today crushed to death in an accident, which occurred in ljoka area, in Akure, the Ondo state capital.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nAn eyewitness said that the victims were crushed to death by a yet-to-be-identified \u2018yahoo boy\u2019<\/p>\n<p>According to him \u201cThe Yahoo boy was driving a Toyota car along the road and suddenly skidded off its lane to crush the victims who were on commercial motorcycles also known as Okada.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201d Immediately the accident happened some sympathizers who rushed to rescue the victims and the driver, later found some fetish items inside the driver\u2019s vehicle, raising suspension that he is a \u2018yahoo boy\u2019.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cAngered by their discovery in the car, the sympathizers descended on the driver and beat him to a point of comatose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d For the timely intervention of the men of the state police command, who arrived at the scene, the driver and his vehicle would have been set ablaze by the mob following what they discovered in his vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The Police officer, who rescued the driver from the mob, declined comment.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nThe deceased was later taken to the state hospital mortuary while those injured were treated at the same hospitals.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nBut one of the policemen later informed newsmen that the driver was taken to the state police command headquarters for questioning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWe\u2019ve to rescue the suspect from the mob, thank God we arrived at the scene on time, they would\u2019ve killed the boy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dHe has been detained at the state police headquarters in Akure.
