{"id":104258,"date":"2023-04-15T04:45:26","date_gmt":"2023-04-15T03:45:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104258"},"modified":"2023-04-15T04:45:26","modified_gmt":"2023-04-15T03:45:26","slug":"abducted-zamfara-female-students-regain-freedom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/abducted-zamfara-female-students-regain-freedom\/","title":{"rendered":"Abducted Zamfara female students regain freedom"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1763191512799394361\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two female students of Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara State, who were abducted have regained freedom.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nThe students gained their freedom after spending 12 days in captivity.<\/p>\n<p>The students were kidnapped after armed men broke into their apartment situated at Sabon Gida community.<\/p>\n<p>The Zamfara State Students Association acknowledged the release, but did not state if ransom was paid.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Public Relations Officer of the association, Umar Abubakar, rejoiced with the school management and parents of the students, who had to go through the trauma of the abduction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe commend loudly the commitment of the school management for and their tireless efforts for the release of the abducted students\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe commend the professionalism, patriotism and untiring efforts of our security agencies for their painstaking efforts which contributed in no small way to the release of the kidnapped students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe commend the efforts of our fellow students for their prayers, and other sisters associations for their interest, cooperation and assistance in securing the release of the kidnapped students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe call on the security agencies to ensure the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators and sponsors of this inhuman and criminal act, no matter how long it takes, and make sure that this incident never happens to any of our student,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-footer spacer collapsible\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The two female students of Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara State, who were abducted have regained freedom.
