{"id":104335,"date":"2023-04-19T09:17:38","date_gmt":"2023-04-19T08:17:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104335"},"modified":"2023-04-19T09:17:38","modified_gmt":"2023-04-19T08:17:38","slug":"doguwa-ive-never-killed-a-fly-let-alone-human-beings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/doguwa-ive-never-killed-a-fly-let-alone-human-beings\/","title":{"rendered":"Doguwa: I\u2019ve never killed a fly, let alone human beings\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">A member representing Doguwa\/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency and Majority leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, said that he had never killed a fly let alone 16 people as alleged by the opposition party.<\/p>\n<p>He said all the allegations levelled against him by his political detractors were aimed at painting him black in the eyes of the world.<\/p>\n<p>He attributed his recent victory at the poll to the will of Allah, \u201cwho gives power to whom He wishes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with newsmen in Kano, on Tuesday, Doguwa said he had passed through one of the most trying moments in his political career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy political rivals went all out to hold my jugular and insisted that I shouldn\u2019t be elected to return to the House. They made sure that they painted me black through their malicious propaganda, hate speech among others and now Allah has ruled otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Doguwa said, \u201cI forgive all those who wronged me and will like to call on them to come forward and assist me in discharging my duties as the representative of the people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On his Speakership ambition, Doguwa said he would not be in a rush, but if he was called upon to contest, he won\u2019t hesitate to do so.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe issue is with my party. Once the APC zones the Speakership post to the North-West and my colleagues give me all the necessary support, I will do as they wish.
