{"id":104352,"date":"2023-04-20T18:25:01","date_gmt":"2023-04-20T17:25:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104352"},"modified":"2023-04-20T18:25:01","modified_gmt":"2023-04-20T17:25:01","slug":"ukraine-president-invites-tinubu-for-state-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/ukraine-president-invites-tinubu-for-state-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine President invites Tinubu for state-visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1763716262340387675\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, has invited Bola Tinubu, the President-elect for a state-visit to Ukraine after his official inauguration on May 29.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nTunde Rahman, the media officer of the President-elect said this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nRahman said that the invitation was part of a congratulatory letter by Zelenskyy to Mr Tinubu over his election victory.<br \/>\nHe said that the Ukrainian leader in the letter expressed gladness at the peaceful conduct of 2023 General Elections.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cPlease accept my sincere congratulations on your election as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Despite extremely difficult testing times caused by the full-scale armed aggression of Russia against our state.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cUkraine is determined to further strengthen cooperation with Nigeria at the bilateral level and within the framework of international organisations,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHe said that Ukraine was grateful for Nigeria\u2019s support of the Resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organisation, Principles of the UN Charter underlying a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace in the country.<br \/>\nZelenskyy added that his country was counting on the active participation of Nigeria in the practical implementation of the resolution.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cWe see the further provision of global food security, of which Ukraine was and remains a reliable guarantor at the global level, as an important direction of cooperation,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHe added that the fulfillment of the task would be facilitated by the successful implementation of the Ukrainian initiative: Grain from Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>This, he said, was designed to significantly increase the supply of grain to African countries in order to prevent famine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTaking this opportunity, I invite you to pay an official visit to Ukraine at a time convenient for you.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I am confident that your visit will strengthen the dialogue between our countries and contribute to the further consolidation of joint efforts of the international community aimed at solving the urgent challenges of today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn particular, the crisis situation caused by Russia regarding the guarantee of world food security,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-footer spacer collapsible\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, has invited Bola Tinubu, the President-elect for a state-visit to Ukraine after his official inauguration on May 29.
