{"id":104551,"date":"2023-04-30T20:38:51","date_gmt":"2023-04-30T19:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104551"},"modified":"2023-04-30T20:38:51","modified_gmt":"2023-04-30T19:38:51","slug":"just-in-apc-sacks-giadom-udosen-as-south-south-chairman-secretary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/just-in-apc-sacks-giadom-udosen-as-south-south-chairman-secretary\/","title":{"rendered":"JUST IN: APC sacks Giadom, Udosen as South-South chairman, secretary"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1764628186710360783\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Zonal Executive Committee of the All Progressive Congress South-South has removed Chief Victor Giadom and Ita Udosen as chairman and secretary of the zone\u2019s executive committee respectively.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nThe decision was part of a special resolution of an extraordinary meeting of the zonal executive committee of the party in Port Harcourt on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>In the resolution which was made available to Pointblanknews.com stated that the committee passed a vote of no confidence of Giadom and Udosen.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution was signed by Blessing Agbomhere, acting zonal Chairman\/Zonal Organizing Secretary, Chief Edet Ita Asia, acting Zonal Secretary\/ Zonal Special Leader and Ogbuobodo, zonal Legal Adviser.<\/p>\n<p>The other signatories were Ebimobowei Oyas, Zonal Youth Leader and Mrs Cynthia Princewill, Zonal Woman Leader.<\/p>\n<p>They accused the APC National Vice Chairman of the Zone of refusing to call for meetings and disrupting every effort to call for meetings by members of the Zonal Executive Committee to transact the political business of the zone.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution added, \u201cThe Zonal Chairman (National Vice Chairman South-South) Chief Victor Giadom has committed the following offences:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Zonal Chairman has refused to make use of the Zonal Office of the Party situated at no 46a, Orogbum Street, GRA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and has frustrated every attempt of any member(s) to use the office for the efficient running of the Zone\u2019s political activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Zonal Chairman has consistently refused, aborted and frustrated every effort to hold meetings, to coordinate and strategize on how to win the general elections in the Zone, and caused members of the Zonal Executive Committee disunity and frustration in their personal efforts to win votes for the party, and this affected the collective performance of the Party at the Zone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Zonal Chairman has bluntly refused to accept or receive complaints and petitions from the States that make up the Zone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile sabotaging every effort to make the Zonal Party Secretariat operational and functional in the interest of all the members of the Party in the Zone, leaving members and leaders in the Zone to resorting to self-help, thereby encouraging intra-party disputations.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-footer spacer collapsible\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Zonal Executive Committee of the All Progressive Congress South-South has removed Chief Victor Giadom and Ita Udosen as chairman and secretary of the zone\u2019s executive committee respectively.
