Abass Tajudeen for Speaker of the House of Representatives.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Barau Jubrin (Kano) is also tipped as Deputy Senate President while Chairman, House Committee on Media and Publicity, Hon. Ben Kalu from Abia State has been endorsed as Deputy Speaker., House of Representatives.<\/p>\n<p>The endorsement was the outcome of the NWC meeting of the ruling party on Monday, May 8, as conveyed by the National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mouka, \u201cThe NWC of the APC met today, Monday, May 8, 2023 to consider reports of consultations and meetings held with the President- Elect, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, other Party leaders and stakeholders on zoning arrangement for 10th National Assembly leadership positions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NWC noted with respect the outcome of the meetings held between the President-Elect and the leadership of the NWC. The NWC called for further and better consultation with necessary stakeholders in order to assure the support of the aspirants to the National Assembly leadership positions and members of the Party nationwide.<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n\u201cThe zoning arrangement reported to the NWC is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>SENATE:<\/p>\n<p>Senate President \u2013 South South Senator Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom).<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Senate President \u2013 North West-Senator Barau Jubrin (Kano).<\/p>\n<p>HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:<\/p>\n<p>Speaker. House of Representatives North West-Hon. Abass Tajudeen (Kaduna)<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Speaker South East-Hon.
