{"id":104753,"date":"2023-05-10T16:44:03","date_gmt":"2023-05-10T15:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104753"},"modified":"2023-05-10T16:44:03","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T15:44:03","slug":"again-tinubu-jets-out-to-europe-may-seek-further-medical-assistance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/again-tinubu-jets-out-to-europe-may-seek-further-medical-assistance\/","title":{"rendered":"Again, Tinubu jets out to Europe, may seek further medical\u00a0assistance"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1765522265222597383\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two weeks after he returned to the country from a three-country vacation which saw him visiting London, Saudi Arabia and Paris, President-elect, Bola Tinubu on Wednesday afternoon left Nigeria for Europe.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nPointblanknews.com gathered that the President-elect may also seek further medical help.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Pointblanknews.com reported that Tinubu who on arrival weeks ago was fixed with a tube on his arm, an indication that he was on a medication which has not been disclosed to Nigerians.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Meanwhile, another source said that the trip is part of his efforts to fine-tune the transition plans and programmes, and his policy options with some of his key aides.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nAccording to a statement from the Office of the President-elect signed by Tunde Rahman, the trip became necessary to allow Tinubu carry out some tasks without unnecessary pressure and distractions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe will use the opportunity of the trip to finetune the transition plans and programmes, and his policy options with some of his key aides without unnecessary pressures and distractions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the visit, the President-elect will engage with investors and other key allies with the goal of marketing investment opportunities in the country and his administration\u2019s readiness to enable a business-friendly climate through policies and regulations\u201d, he stated.<\/p>\n<p>The statement noted that already, meetings with multi-sectoral actors in Europe\u2019s business community including manufacturing, agriculture, tech and energy have been lined up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs\u00edw\u00e1j\u00fa Tinubu hopes to convince them of Nigeria\u2019s readiness to do business under his leadership through mutually-beneficial partnerships premised on jobs creation and skills acquisition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReviving the country\u2019s economy forms a major plank of Tinubu\u2019s Renewed Hope agenda and the meeting is part of his efforts to re-establish Nigeria\u2019s importance in the global economic chain and create empowering opportunities for the country\u2019s huge youth population.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe President-elect has hitherto promised to hit the ground running and the visit is reflective of his commitment to the promise as he has already begun talks with global actors in the important areas of the economy and security.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore he left the country, As\u00edw\u00e1j\u00fa Tinubu met with the House of Representatives candidates for Speaker and Deputy Speaker endorsed by his party, the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and Hon.
