{"id":104852,"date":"2023-05-16T18:15:56","date_gmt":"2023-05-16T17:15:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=104852"},"modified":"2023-05-16T18:15:56","modified_gmt":"2023-05-16T17:15:56","slug":"again-gunmen-hit-abuja-kidnap-fcta-staff-14-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/other-news\/again-gunmen-hit-abuja-kidnap-fcta-staff-14-others\/","title":{"rendered":"Again, gunmen hit Abuja; kidnap FCTA staff, 14 others"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"I_ZkbNhI D_FY W_6D6F\" data-test-id=\"message-view-body\">\n<div class=\"msg-body P_wpofO mq_AS\" data-test-id=\"message-view-body-content\">\n<div class=\"jb_0 X_6MGW N_6Fd5\">\n<div>\n<div id=\"yiv1337495380\">\n<div>\n<div>No fewer than 15 persons were on Sunday night kidnapped by gunmen at the 1, 000 Housing Estate along the Pegi community in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>The gunmen who reportedly launched the daring attack at about 11:30 pm, shot sporadically into the air and took away several persons who were returning from the city at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of Pegi Residents Association, Taiwo Aderibigbe, disclosed that among the victims was a staff of the FCT Department of Development Control.<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\nHe said; \u201cGunmen abducted 15 persons along the abandoned 14-kilometre Pegi road. Out of those kidnapped is one Shuaibu Misa, a staff with the Federal Capital Territory Administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also observed that the husband of the woman who sells second-hand clothing at the main entrance to the estate was among the people kidnapped while they were returning from work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe kidnappers have not contacted the families of those abducted at the moment, but we are still trying to identify other residents abducted\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Director, FCT Department of Development Control, Mukhtar Galadima, confirmed that one of his staff was a victim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, it is true.
