{"id":107243,"date":"2023-08-25T19:14:59","date_gmt":"2023-08-25T18:14:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=107243"},"modified":"2023-08-25T19:14:59","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T18:14:59","slug":"ex-benue-customary-court-president-murdered","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/ex-benue-customary-court-president-murdered\/","title":{"rendered":"Ex-Benue Customary Court President Murdered"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">A retired President of the Benue State Customary Court of Appeal, Mrs Margaret Igbeta, has been allegedly murdered in her home located at Wantor Kwange Street in Makurdi metropolis of the state.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nIgbeta, 72, was found lifeless in a pool of blood Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>Our correspondent gathered on Friday morning that the judge\u2019s corpse was discovered after she was murdered by yet-to-be-identified gunmen who spilled her blood all over her house.<\/p>\n<p>It was suspected that the late jurist might have been killed a day earlier as suggested by the state of her corpse.<\/p>\n<p>Her body was later retrieved by the police from her home, opposite BSU College of Medicine along Gboko road in Makurdi.<\/p>\n<p>A police source not authorised to speak with journalists, said, \u201cYes, it\u2019s true.
