{"id":107847,"date":"2023-09-18T18:32:42","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T17:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=107847"},"modified":"2023-09-18T18:32:42","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T17:32:42","slug":"breaking-police-arrest-alleged-murderers-of-senator-adeolas-aide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/breaking-police-arrest-alleged-murderers-of-senator-adeolas-aide\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: Police arrest alleged murderers of Senator Adeola\u2019s aide"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Six weeks after his gruesome murder on the streets of Nigeria\u2019s commercial capital, the Lagos State Police Command on Monday, September 18, paraded three male suspects in the robbery and murder of Adeniyi Sanni, an aide to Senator Solomon Adeola also known as Yayi.<\/p>\n<p>Sanni was killed on August 5 when he was stopped by \u2018fake security\u2019 agents at a checkpoint in Ojodu Berger, on his way to his home in Isheri, Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>His body was later dumped around Toyota Bus Stop, Oshodi, with gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was later found dead with about five bullet holes in his back and three shells of expended ammunition by his body,\u201d Police confirmed on August 6.<\/p>\n<p>The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, confirmed the arrest while briefing reporters at the command\u2019s Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Owohunwa said: \u201cThrough painstaking intelligence and investigative activities which brought out the best in the capacity of Lagos Police Command, we have succeeded in arresting the syndicate of the robbery and murder.
