A United States of America Army General, Gregory Copley has accused Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of going through his education at the Chicago State University on a stolen identity.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This is just as Copley counseled the Supreme Court of against affirming Tinubu as President, noting that doing so could expose officials of the apex court and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to possible prosecution in court<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Gen. Copley stated this against the backdrop of the affirmation of Tinubu’s victory by the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) in September following allegations of fraud and compromise by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Labour Party (LP) and the Allied People’s Movement (APM) and their presidential candidates.<\/div>\n

The presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar subsequently approached a US District Court, praying it to prevail on the Chicago State University (CSU) to release the academic records of Tinubu, a move the Nigerian President did everything to stop owing to the controversy surrounding his identity, age, qualification and the gender of the Bola Tinubu who attended and graduated from CSU in the late 70s.<\/div>\n

Atiku has again approached the highest court in the land and is backing.on the apex court to overturn the judgment of the PEPC.<\/div>\n

Speaking in an audio podcast obtained by Pointblanknews.com, General Copley said, “There is the question of bribery and corruption between the court and INEC. We have now started to say that greater attention be paid to the fact that Bola Tinubu lied, is guilty of forgery and fraud in his election application and sworn documents. This involves a lot about his educational qualifications which he clearly lied about given also his failure to disclose his criminal prosecution in the United States.<\/div>\n

“What is starting to show is that Tinubu has many gray areas in his career either to gain education or claims to education. He basically put pressure on CSU not to release transcripts of anything to do with him because they knew that he used different names and security numbers, many of which were borrowed or fraudulent.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“He borrowed another person’s identity to file for studies which were required educationally. He was prosecuted in Chicago in the 1990s for narcotic trafficking.”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
According to Copley, “If the Supreme Court of Nigeria does not overturn the election, there may be severe consequences such as moves to impeach President Tinubu either by the Senate or the House of Representatives in Nigeria. Supreme officials and those of INEC may be prosecuted.”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“He (Tinubu) forfeited $460,000 rather than go to prison. There is a lot which is coming out about him.”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
That said, the highly regarded US Army General said a number of additional information about Tinubu could now be taken to the Supreme Court in order to see that the right thing is done.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
His words, “The appeal having been rejected by the election court is now getting ready to go before the Supreme Court in Nigeria. That (application) can be accompanied by this other information about Tinubu’s qualification. He (Tinubu) has lied literally about every aspect of his life and this is going to be a very interesting situation.”<\/div>\n

While firing a shot at the electoral umpire, Copley stressed that the logical option for INEC ” would have been to call for a second round of votes between the two top contenders- Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu. That, they didn’t do. They just awarded the election to Tinubu,” he lamented.<\/div>\n
