I am worried about the political developments in the South East, Nigeria. I am deeply worried that my people have through actions and deeds decided to continue to play politics of the stomach in Nigeria. I am deeply at pains in Nigeria that my people, a race known for industry and hardwork have turned to bootlickers in Nigeria. It pains me to no end that my people do not seem to understand politics any longer in Nigeria. I am troubled that my people are now spoilers in Nigeria\u2019s political landscape.<\/p>\n
In 1993, it was Senator Arthur Nzeribe who formed the so-called Association for Better Nigeria (ABN) to scuttle the June 12 1993 presidential election. Nzeribe\u2019s ABN went to court and got a judgement delivered by 10pm to stop the elections because it was obvious that Chief Abiola was coasting home to victory. Even though the elections went on as scheduled, events and fallouts of Arthur Nzeribe\u2019s criminal acts led to the annulment of that election and the rest is history.<\/p>\n
The late General Abacha planned to succeed himself in 1998 having seized power in November 18 1993 through the barrels of guns. He ruled Nigeria for 5 years and still planned to succeed himself. One Daniel Kanu floated YEAA, Youths Earnestly Asking for Abacha and organized 2 million man march in Abuja to support Abacha\u2019s project. Again the rest is now history.<\/p>\n
Again in 2013, two Igbo lawyers, Olisa Metuh and Ikenga Ugochinyere are working in tandem to set the nation of fire by stopping the merger of ACN, CPC, ANPP and APGA into All Progressives Congress, APC. An address being used by the phantom of APC to send messages to media houses has been traced to Olisa Metuh\u2019s office in Abuja.<\/p>\n
It has now been proved beyond reasonable doubt that PDP is responsible for the uproar and controversies surrounding the APC saga. It has been proved beyond reasonable doubt that PDP Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh and one Ikenga Ugochinyere and others are the political thieves in Abuja conniving with INEC to deny the real APC the fruit of their labour. It is now crystal clear that INEC and PDP are in a merger to stop the real APC. It is now clear to us that PDP is scared stiff about the emergence of APC and will do anything humanly possible to stop the merger. It is now a well-known fact that PDP is the biggest problem facing Nigeria. It is now a big challenge to Nigerians to stop PDP or PDP will stop Nigeria.<\/p>\n
In the past 20 years some Igbo criminal elements have connived with others from other parts of Nigeria to be a cog in the wheel of democracy and today I want some well-respected Igbo leaders to stand up to defend Igbo or we perish. Igbo bad politics contributed immensely in foisting IBB, Abacha, Abubakar, Obasanjo, Yar\u2019 Adua and Jonathan on Nigeria and today we are suffering. South West rejected their son OBJ in 1999 but Igbo and the North foisted OBJ on all of us for 8 years.<\/p>\n
Politics is such a serious business that we must not leave it in the hands of jobbers and nitwits. Activities of some people in Nigeria especially of Igbo extraction are causing terrible embarrassment to Ndigbo. Is it not an embarrassment that the email address used by the phantom APC to send messages to media houses has been traced to PDP\u2019s Publicity Secretary Office in Abuja? The office is presided over by Barr. Olisa Metuh \u2013 a full blooded Igbo man from my town Nnewi.<\/p>\n
It is a shame that Ndigbo sit back and allow scoundrels and charlatans to speak for us always. Oh God, the people get the leaders they deserve. I challenge real Igbo leaders who are not in short supply in Nigeria to speak out now.<\/p>\n
