{"id":110314,"date":"2024-01-27T12:59:41","date_gmt":"2024-01-27T11:59:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=110314"},"modified":"2024-01-27T12:59:41","modified_gmt":"2024-01-27T11:59:41","slug":"troops-clear-esn-camp-in-okigwe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/troops-clear-esn-camp-in-okigwe\/","title":{"rendered":"Troops Clear ESN Camp in Okigwe"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1789159690361116203\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Combined troops of the 82 Division Nigerian Navy and the Air Force in conjunction with the Nigerian Police and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps have cleared several camps of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and it\u2019s armed affiliate Eastern Security Network (ESN) along Umulolo \u2013 Umukele \u2013 Amousu and Agbobu in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo state.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nThe troops stormed and destroyed hideouts of the terrorist despite encountering several Improvised Explosive Devices on their path and cordoned-off and searched several buildings used by the terrorist.<\/p>\n<p>During the search, signs of terrorists activities, occultic and acts of cannibalism by the group were discovered.<\/p>\n<p>The troops also destroyed an IED making factory being operated by the terrorists.<\/p>\n<p>The troops recovered rank badges of 2 Policemen that were kidnapped along Enugu-Port Harcourt road.<\/p>\n<p>Other items discovered include Biafran currencies, fake US Dollar bills, Biafran Liberation Army T shirts, and other Biafran insignia, military kit bags, cables used for IED detonation and axes.
