{"id":11231,"date":"2013-03-23T14:54:59","date_gmt":"2013-03-23T13:54:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=11231"},"modified":"2013-03-23T14:54:59","modified_gmt":"2013-03-23T13:54:59","slug":"all-time-fav-player-mourinho-snubs-ronaldo-picks-drogba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/all-time-fav-player-mourinho-snubs-ronaldo-picks-drogba\/","title":{"rendered":"All-time Fav Player: Mourinho snubs Ronaldo, picks Drogba"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo and named former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba as his all-time favourite player.<\/p>\n<p>Mourinho was responding to reports that he had criticised Drogba following the Ivory Coast striker\u2019s move to Galatasaray, who Madrid will face in the quarter finals of this season\u2019s Champions League.<\/p>\n<p>The Portuguese knows Drogba well having been his boss at Chelsea where the pair collected five trophies in three seasons, including the Premier League title and the FA Cup.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have had a lot of truly special players, but if I had to choose one I might go for Didier,\u201d Mourinho told Real Madrid TV.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a player he is out of this world. I would like to have him by my side, so just imagine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked about the reports that suggested he had criticised his former charge, Mourinho added, \u201cDrogba knows who I am and what I feel in my heart for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is impossible that I would talk bad about Drogba.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no problem because he knows that the last thing I would do is to say anything negative about my relationship with him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has dismissed Mourinho\u2019s suggestions that the vote for FIFA\u2019s Coach of the Year award was rigged as \u201cchildish\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Real Madrid manager claimed earlier this week that certain people\u2019s votes in the elections were wrongly awarded to Del Bosque, a revelation that has since been denied by FIFA, but was backed by Macedonia skipper Goran Pandev on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe situation does not bother me at all.
