{"id":112678,"date":"2024-06-21T18:18:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-21T17:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=112678"},"modified":"2024-06-21T18:18:00","modified_gmt":"2024-06-21T17:18:00","slug":"keyamo-flags-off-n62-8bn-gusau-international-airport-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/keyamo-flags-off-n62-8bn-gusau-international-airport-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Keyamo flags-off N62.8bn Gusau International Airport project"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1802483083313598497\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, yesterday, laid the foundation for the construction of N62.8 billion Gusau International Airport, aimed at boosting the state\u2019s economy, especially in agriculture, tourism and education, among others.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nKeyamo, who lauded the project, said Gusau International Airport would be historic as it would open another chapter for a new Zamfara after completion of the airport, saying: \u201cI always said that in the North-West of Nigeria, Zamfara State has been sub- changed in respect of these past facilities. Other parts of the North-West have good airports; the people of those states have access to transport by air, but Zamfara State has long been left behind.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you look at what Zamfara critically possessed in terms of agricultural process, it stands out as the food basket of the entire North-West. This is a proper home.
