{"id":11301,"date":"2013-03-25T14:38:05","date_gmt":"2013-03-25T13:38:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=11301"},"modified":"2013-03-25T14:38:05","modified_gmt":"2013-03-25T13:38:05","slug":"im-not-leaving-pdp-governor-ahmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/im-not-leaving-pdp-governor-ahmed\/","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m Not Leaving PDP, Governor Ahmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has denied a report published in a national newspaper that he plans to leave the People\u2019s Democratic Party (PDP) along with seven other governors ahead of the 2015 elections.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Dr. Muyideen Akorede, Governor Ahmed said there was no iota of truth in the report and dismissed the publication as the<br \/>\nhandiwork of mischief-makers bent on causing disaffection in the PDP.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGovernor Ahmed has no intention of leaving the PDP now or in the future. I wish to state with all emphasis at my disposal that the report is untrue and could only have been orchestrated by mischief makers. Governor Ahmed remains a loyal and committed member of the PDP and sees the current realignments in the party as normal in any political association.
