{"id":114333,"date":"2024-09-19T19:10:26","date_gmt":"2024-09-19T18:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=114333"},"modified":"2024-09-19T19:10:26","modified_gmt":"2024-09-19T18:10:26","slug":"labor-party-presidential-candidate-peter-obi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/labor-party-presidential-candidate-peter-obi\/","title":{"rendered":"Labor Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1810644519114526774\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has issued a strong warning to the Independent Electoral Commission against glitches or hitches that could lead to rigging in the upcoming governorship election on September 21.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nObi made this statement during the grand finale of the party\u2019s campaign in Benin, where he expressed his full support for the Labour Party\u2019s flag bearer, Olumide Akpata.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cWe don\u2019t want excuses again, we are tired of excuses. Let me use this (opportunity) to warn INEC. They said they would use BVAS and iRev. No glitches, no hitches. We want this election to be free and fair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not looking for anybody\u2019s vote. Time of rigging must come to an end in this country; time of rigging is coming to an end in this country.
