They want to be treated as equals and to have a greater say in their own affairs.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">As Senegal prepares for the complete departure of French troops, it stands on the cusp of a new era defined by independence and self-determination.
