{"id":117139,"date":"2025-04-07T13:06:21","date_gmt":"2025-04-07T12:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=117139"},"modified":"2025-04-07T13:06:21","modified_gmt":"2025-04-07T12:06:21","slug":"fg-opens-april-savings-bond-offer-to-nigerian-investors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/fg-opens-april-savings-bond-offer-to-nigerian-investors\/","title":{"rendered":"FG Opens April Savings Bond Offer to Nigerian Investors"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Daniel Adaji<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Debt Management Office (DMO) of Nigeria has announced the opening of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Savings Bond offer for subscription for the month of April 2025.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This initiative, aimed at enhancing financial inclusion and promoting a savings culture among Nigerians, opens on Monday and will close on April 11.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Pointblank News obtained this information from the DMO website on Monday.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The offer includes two bond tenors with competitive interest rates:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>2-Year FGN Savings Bond due April 16, 2027, with an annual interest rate of 16.046 per cent.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>3-Year FGN Savings Bond due April 16, 2028, offering a higher interest rate of 17.046 per annum per annum.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The bonds are sold in units of N1,000, with a minimum subscription of N5,000 and increments in multiples of N1,000 thereafter.
