He was a trailblazer who &#8216;dared to walk where no one has gone.&#8217; He was a shepherd of the most vulnerable and worked for a better and united world.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPope Francis was a Pontiff who walked among the people, whose voice echoed the cries of the poor and whose hands reached toward those cast aside by the world. His papacy was a bridge of compassion in a time of division, a balm of grace in a wounded world.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThat his soul should be called home on a sacred day of christians is a solemn and divine punctuation \u2014 one that reminds us that even as the earthly journey ends, a new and glorious dawn awaits those who have lived for others\u201d.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The former Vice President condoled with Catholics in Nigeria and beyond and the Christian community worldwide, saying, \u201cI share in your sorrow and stand with you in prayer. &#8220;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Similary, Kwankwaso in his X handle commiserated with the global Christian community over the demise of the pontiff.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI extend my deepest condolences to the global Christian nation on the passing of Pope Francis.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHis loss is a huge one to humanity.
