He also raised concerns over the just concluded LP governorship primary in Anambra state, saying that it was marked with irregularities.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The primary election, conducted by the faction led by Julius Abure, was won by George Moghalu.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Obaze however did not disclose his next political destination.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Obaze, a former diplomat, played a central role in Obi\u2019s 2023 presidential campaign and was instrumental in the creation of the \u2018Obidient movement.\u2019<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>His exit raises fresh questions about the party\u2019s stability in Anambra state.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Several prominent politicians including members of national and state assemblies have recently decamped\u00a0 from the Labour party following intractable leadership crisis.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>While the party&#8217;s National Chairman Barr. Julius Abure is still laying claim to the leadership of the party after a Supreme Court Judgment that asked political parties to resolve its crisis internally using its constitution, another group led by Abia State governor, Dr. Alex Otti, after an expanded stakeholders meeting in Umuahia, constituted a 29-member caretaker committee led by Sen.
