This, the company says, is a strategic move to speed up restoration and reduce the outage period.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe collapse occurred at approximately 5:35 p.m. due to a heavy windstorm,\u201d Ndidi Mbah, General Manager, Public Affairs at TCN said in a statement on Saturday.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cTo accelerate the restoration process, we mobilized three different contractors. Each is assigned to reconstruct one tower, working under the supervision of our engineers,\u201d she added.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The incident disrupted bulk power supply to Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, affecting some of its customers in the Northwest.
