In response, the Controller General of Corrections (CGC), Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Deputy Controller of Corrections and Public Relations Officer, Umar Abubakar, stated that the Service is collaborating closely with other security agencies and community leaders to ensure the swift recapture of the escapees.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The NCoS is appealing to the public for their cooperation and any information that could lead to the apprehension of the fleeing inmates.<\/div>\n<div>&#8220;Anyone with information should please contact the nearest security agency or call the NCoS Response Desk lines as follows: 07087086005, 09060004598, 08075050006,&#8221; the statement urged.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The incessant nature of these jailbreaks has profound implications for national security. This may lead to the re-entry of dangerous individuals into society but also erodes public confidence in the justice system and exacerbates the overall security challenges facing the country.
