{"id":119515,"date":"2025-06-09T10:04:27","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T09:04:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=119515"},"modified":"2025-06-09T10:04:27","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T09:04:27","slug":"abuja-residents-to-experience-partial-blackout-due-to-faulty-feeders-aedc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/abuja-residents-to-experience-partial-blackout-due-to-faulty-feeders-aedc\/","title":{"rendered":"Abuja residents to experience partial blackout due to faulty feeders &#8211; AEDC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Myke Agunwa, Abuja<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has announced partial power outage in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) due to faulty feeders.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>AEDC in a statement on Saturday said that the affected are Efab Classic Estate, Metro City Estate, Sticks &amp; Stones, Yayala Estate, Trademore Estate, Choos Estate, Maxcare Plaza, Faith Plaza, Sunflower Plaza, Erifu Estate, DME Estate, Earthpoint Estate, Sunnyvale Estate, and Brains &amp; Hammers 1, 2, 4.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Others are Hunters Garden, Ecofitness, Airport, NJI, NARSDA, NABDA, Lugbe Shoprite, Riverpark Estate, War College, Dunamis, NIGCOMSAT, Passo Village, Paiko Village, Dobi Community, SHEDA Science &amp; Technology Complex, Kwali Town, WaterBoard, Abaji Town, Gishiri, Mabushi, Kadokuchi, Navy Estate, Anan House, and Jahi Village.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The NAF Conference Centre, Lake View Phase 182, Custom Quarters, Dakibiu, Today Estate, parts of Dape District, Katsina Estate, Paradise Estate, Ochacho Estate, Kafe District, America Embassy Estate, parts of Gwarinpa and its environs were also included on the list affected areas.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cWe regret to inform you that the ongoing power outage is due to a technical fault affecting the feeders serving these locations,\u201d the company said.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cOur dedicated technical team is working tirelessly to restore power as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to serve you better.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The FCT has experienced prolonged outages in recent times.
