{"id":119521,"date":"2025-06-09T10:14:03","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T09:14:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=119521"},"modified":"2025-06-09T10:14:03","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T09:14:03","slug":"gov-sanwo-olu-adds-12-new-coaches-to-blue-line-eulogizes-tinubu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/gov-sanwo-olu-adds-12-new-coaches-to-blue-line-eulogizes-tinubu\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov Sanwo-Olu adds 12 new coaches to Blue Line, eulogizes Tinubu"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Myke Agunwa<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To boost rail transportation system in the old capital city of Lagos, the\u00a0 State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu added\u00a0 additional three trains of 12 coaches to the Lagos blue rail-line operations.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The governor further remarked that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu is working for prosperous Nigeria.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sanwo-Olu made the remark on Sunday while officially handing over the newly acquired coaches to the management of Blue Line at the National Theatre, Iganmu.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sanwo-Olu who praised\u00a0 President Bola Tinubu for his ambitious moves to transform the country, noted that the procurement of the additional coaches was made possible through his financial support.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>According to Sanwo-Olu, \u201cWe thank everyone that has been part of the journey, particularly Mr President Bola Tinubu, for his financial support towards the realization of this project.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cWe thanked President Bola Tinubu for the support, including the funding that helped the state government procure the coaches for the blue rail line.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cBefore the end of the year, we are going to see new coaches on the red line, which would be bigger and slicker.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cSome of you can come around when the trains are being lifted on the track, and when it is done, it will not disrupt the current train operations.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cIt is a brand new train of coaches. Phase 2 of the blue rail is on track and schedule.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cIt is a lot of money. The main operations as a means of public transportation have come to stay in Lagos.
