The Israel-Iran war has taken a new twist as President Donald Trump of the United States (US) announced that US has successfully bombed three nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In a series of messages on his social media handle, Truth Social, the US President on Saturday night, said that the objective of the strikes was to destroy Iran\u2019s nuclear capacity and neutralise its nuclear threat.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cA short time ago, the US military carried out massive precision strikes on the three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime Fordow Natanz and Esfahan,\u201d Trump said.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cEverybody heard those names for years as they built this horribly destructive enterprise.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cOur objective was the destruction of Iran\u2019s nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world\u2019s number one state sponsor of terror,” he added.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The US leader, who had made several overtures to Iran to make a \u201cdeal\u201d about its nuclear programme, described the strikes as a huge military success.<\/div>\n

\u201cTonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201dIran\u2019s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cIran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,\u201d the US President also noted.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He warned that \u201cthere will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days\u201d.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He stressed that there were many targets left, adding, \u201ctonight\u2019s was the most difficult of them all, by far, and perhaps the most lethal.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cBut if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed, and skill; most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes.\u201d<\/div>\n

Trump boasted about the superiority of the U.S. military, saying no military in the world could have done what the U.S. military did in Iran.<\/div>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight, not even close.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cThere has never been a military that could do what took place just a little while ago.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cAll planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cCongratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the world that could have done this.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cNOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!\u201d<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in his reaction to the US strike on Iran\u2019s nuclear facilities, hailed Trump for taking a \u201cbold decision\u201d on Iran.<\/div>\n

\u201cCongratulations President Trump, your bold decision to target Iran\u2019s nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history,\u201d Netanyahu posted.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in a phone call condemned Israeli attacks on Iran and urged a diplomatic solution to the conflict.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In an interaction with Journalists on Thursday, Russian foreign ministry’s spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, “We would like to particularly warn Washington against military intervention in the situation.”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Any US military action “would be an extremely dangerous step with truly unpredictable negative consequences”, she added.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
She said that Putin and Xi “strongly condemn Israel’s actions”.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters that Moscow and Beijing believed the end to the hostilities “should be achieved exclusively by political and diplomatic means”.<\/div>\n
