{"id":120193,"date":"2025-06-27T18:49:54","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T17:49:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=120193"},"modified":"2025-06-27T18:49:54","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T17:49:54","slug":"ganduje-resigns-as-apc-national-chairman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/ganduje-resigns-as-apc-national-chairman\/","title":{"rendered":"Ganduje Resigns As APC National Chairman\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">By Oscar Okhifo<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje has resigned as the party&#8217;s National Chairman.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although there&#8217;s no official statement yet, our correspondent, who visited the party secretariat observed that Ganduje&#8217;s personal belongings were being removed from the office including his official pictures from the wall.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even though details surrounding his resignation remain sketchy, a source at the party national secretariat said the National Working Committee will announce an Acting Chairman soon.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The source said: \u201cYes, Ganduje has resigned, and most of his personal belongings have been moved from the APC National Secretariat. The National Working Committee will soon confirm this and announce an acting replacement.\u201d<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was observed that staff and visitors gather in groups and were discussing the matter shortly after jumat prayers.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Efforts to get Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary to speak on the matter proved abortive as repeated calls to his phone were not picked as at the time of going to the press.
