{"id":120465,"date":"2025-07-08T15:23:20","date_gmt":"2025-07-08T14:23:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=120465"},"modified":"2025-07-08T15:23:20","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T14:23:20","slug":"2027-north-solidly-behind-tinubu-apc-scribe-assures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/2027-north-solidly-behind-tinubu-apc-scribe-assures\/","title":{"rendered":"2027: North solidly behind Tinubu \u2013 APC Scribe assures"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Myke Agunwa<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As the debate over the possibility of President Bola Tinubu losing the support of the North in 2027 following the strangulating economic realities in the country continues to occupy public discourse, National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajibola Bashiru, has reaffirmed that the North is solidly working for his re-election.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He dismissed the rumours of any gang-up against the president in the north, describing it as a \u2018lie from the pit of hell.\u2019<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Bashiru made the disclosure on Monday while speaking at a media roundtable organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Zone B, in Ibadan, Oyo State.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>While refuting the notion of a northern conspiracy against Tinubu\u2019s 2027 bid, calling it \u201ca lie from the pit of hell,\u201d he affirmed that his re-election programme and Renewed Hope Agenda are gaining massive support in northern cities like Katsina, Kaduna, Kano, and Gombe.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cIt\u2019s a lie from the pit of hell to claim the North is ganging up against Tinubu. I say this from a position of knowledge.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cI am not a flimsy person.
