Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has shared a heartfelt yet striking advice with his daughter, Temi, and her husband, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, during their wedding reception.<\/div>\n

Temi and Mr Eazi tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland in August 2025, following two earlier celebrations ,\u00a0 a civil wedding in Monaco on May 9, which coincided with Mr Eazi\u2019s late mother\u2019s birthday, and a Yoruba traditional wedding held at the Otedola family residence in Dubai in July.<\/div>\n

In a now-viral video from the Iceland reception, Otedola praised the couple\u2019s bond, describing their marriage as \u201cmade in Heaven.\u201d<\/div>\n

\u00a0He highlighted their shared entrepreneurial spirit while urging Temi to embrace her new role as a wife.<\/div>\n

\u201cYou found a great guy, very great guy, blessed guy. He\u2019s come from a very decent family. One thing I\u2019ll advise you\u2026 you have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He\u2019s your husband, he\u2019s your boss. There\u2019s no more dad, don\u2019t call me up,\u201d Otedola said.<\/div>\n

The billionaire businessman further encouraged the couple to handle challenges privately.<\/div>\n

\u00a0\u201cWhen you have issues, problems, just keep it within yourself. Never call any friend that you have this problem. Just keep it within your walls. And God will bless you and bless your marriage.\u201d<\/div>\n

He also showered praises on their drive and resilience, comparing their entrepreneurial flair to the hustling spirit of his own generation. Otedola capped his speech by presenting a special wedding gift, telling the newlyweds: \u201cYou go out to the world. You\u2019re both entrepreneurs. Out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You\u2019ll be great people. This is my gift for you.\u201d<\/div>\n

Following the wedding, Temi officially adopted her husband\u2019s surname, updating her social media profile to read \u201cMrs Ajibade.\u201d Her decision has since reignited debate in feminist circles over whether women should take their husband\u2019s surname or retain their maiden names after marriage.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
