{"id":122198,"date":"2025-09-12T06:37:38","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T05:37:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=122198"},"modified":"2025-09-12T06:37:38","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T05:37:38","slug":"ex-agf-petitions-nsa-dss-over-alleged-plot-to-destabilize-kebbi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/ex-agf-petitions-nsa-dss-over-alleged-plot-to-destabilize-kebbi\/","title":{"rendered":"Ex-AGF Petitions NSA, DSS Over Alleged Plot to Destabilize Kebbi"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">By Lizzy Chirkpi<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Former Attorney-General of the Federation and leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State, Abubakar Malami, SAN, has petitioned top security agencies over what he described as a coordinated plot to destabilize Kebbi through the importation of political thugs, foreign mercenaries, and illicit arms.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a letter dated September 10, 2025 and signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Mohammed Doka, Malami drew the attention of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), and the Comptroller-Generals of Immigration and Civil Defence, warning that the situation amounts to a \u201cnational security emergency.\u201d<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to him, \u201cpolitical actors are working with foreign mercenaries from the Niger Republic and arming them through illegal channels.
