{"id":122685,"date":"2025-10-02T02:17:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T01:17:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=122685"},"modified":"2025-10-02T02:17:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T01:17:12","slug":"governor-fubara-dissolves-cabinet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/governor-fubara-dissolves-cabinet\/","title":{"rendered":"Governor Fubara Dissolves Cabinet"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1844806128491886244\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div id=\"m#msg-f:1844806128491886244-header\" class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">By Oscar Okhifo<\/div>\n<div id=\"m#msg-f:1844806128491886244-content\" class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, on Wednesday announced the dissolution of the State Executive Council, ending the tenure of all commissioners and top government officials in his cabinet.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The dissolution was confirmed in a statement issued by the governor\u2019s Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Before the announcement took effect, Governor Fubara presided over a valedictory session at the Government House in Port Harcourt, where he formally bid farewell to his outgoing cabinet members.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Addressing the commissioners, the governor expressed appreciation for their commitment to the development of Rivers State, noting that their contributions had been significant to his administration\u2019s progress over the past two years.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI sincerely thank you for your sacrifices, loyalty and the roles you played in shaping the direction of this government.
