{"id":123698,"date":"2025-11-09T17:29:41","date_gmt":"2025-11-09T16:29:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=123698"},"modified":"2025-11-09T17:29:41","modified_gmt":"2025-11-09T16:29:41","slug":"anambra-soludos-victory-referendum-on-performance-ngige","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/anambra-soludos-victory-referendum-on-performance-ngige\/","title":{"rendered":"Anambra: Soludo\u2019s victory, referendum on performance \u2013 Ngige"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1848329377872123466\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div id=\"m#msg-f:1848329377872123466-header\" class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">By Myke Agunwa<\/div>\n<div id=\"m#msg-f:1848329377872123466-content\" class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Former Governor of Anambra State and two-term Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige, has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his \u201clandslide victory\u201d in the November 8, 2025 governorship election.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ngige described Soludo\u2019s sweeping win across all 21 local government areas of the state as a referendum on his stewardship since assuming office on March 17, 2022, noting that the outcome reflected the people\u2019s confidence in his leadership.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSome of us had publicly attested to the excellent fiscal policies and the massive infrastructural and human capital development projects undertaken by the governor,\u201d Ngige stated.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The former senator representing Anambra Central further urged Soludo to use his renewed mandate to deepen his service to the people.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cOnly God is perfect, so this second missionary journey affords the governor an opportunity to rededicate himself to working for the people with greater zeal \u2014 to ensure their welfare and security as enshrined in Section 14(2)(b) of the 1999 Constitution,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhere mistakes were made through actions or inactions, this is a golden opportunity for correction. May the good Lord guide you, bless our state, Anambra, and our country, Nigeria.
