{"id":12441,"date":"2013-04-23T17:07:05","date_gmt":"2013-04-23T16:07:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=12441"},"modified":"2013-04-23T17:07:05","modified_gmt":"2013-04-23T16:07:05","slug":"von-frcn-governing-boards-for-inauguration-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/von-frcn-governing-boards-for-inauguration-today\/","title":{"rendered":"VON, FRCN Governing Boards For Inauguration Today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Governing Boards of the Voice of Nigeria (VON) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) will be inaugurated on Tuesday by the Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku.<\/p>\n<p>A statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Mrs Kehinde Ajoni, said the inauguration would take place at the Conference Hall of Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja, at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the VON board are Mr Andy Aghaji (chairman), Mr George Korgba, Mr Hassan Ahmed, Prof. Fred Onyeoziri, Mr Steve Oruruo, Mr Bature Umar Sambo, Mr Ogbole Amedu-Ode, the Director General of VON and the nominated representative of the Ministry of Information.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Ben Murray-Bruce will serve as the Chairman of the Board FRCN while other members are Mrs Funke Egbemode, Mrs Bola Doherty, Mr Farouk Dalhatu, Mrs J.N Chinedu, Hajia Hauwa Kida, Chief Elvis Agukwe, Abubakar Damboh and the Director-General of FRCN as well as the nominated representatives of the Ministry of Information and the that of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Governing Boards of the Voice of Nigeria (VON) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) will be inaugurated on Tuesday by the Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku.
