The vehicle reportedly belongs to one of the alleged victims, identified as Ileyemi Damilola.<\/div>\n<div>Confirming the arraignment, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, said, \u201cYes, he was arraigned and remanded yesterday.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>During the proceedings, the prosecution presented testimony from two siblings of Ashabi Simple. However, Ashabi herself was absent from the court session.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Police further alleged that Portable obstructed and assaulted a female police officer, Inspector Ogungbe Olayemi, while she was performing her official duties.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ruling on the bail application, the presiding judge declined to grant bail, stating, \u201cThe police officer allegedly assaulted must be present in court before any bail decision can be made.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As a result, the court ordered that the singer be remanded in custody, with a fresh bail hearing scheduled for January 19, 2026.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The latest development follows the circulation of a viral video showing Portable in police custody, adding to the artist\u2019s long history of legal controversies.
