The office of National Security Adviser(NSA) has reiterated the Defence Headquarters position, blaming Boko Haram for Baga killings.<\/p>\n
In a statement signed by Mr. Karounwi Adekunle, spokesman of NSA, Colonel Sambo Dansuki (rtd) and made available to Pointblanknews.com, he said whoever doubted the report can make a trip to Baga to confirm issues.<\/p>\n
The NSA noted that the Baga attack had all the attributes of Boko Haram insurgency,because to him the terrorists had made bombing and setting a blaze of houses and schools their stock in trade each time they strike in an area.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis pattern of arson which has been established by Boko Haram,is also the \u2018modus operandi\u2019 of terrorist organizations\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cOur attention has been drawn to some purported satellite images of Baga town in some Newspapers concerning the attacks perpetrated by Boko Haram members on soldiers and innocent citizens on the 16th of April, 2013\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is not the first time that Boko Haram members have launched attack on Baga,they did so in December, 2012 which led to the dead of several innocent people and their houses set on fire\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is pertinent for the public to know that Boko Haram has concessioned its media relations to Al-Qaeda, hence the heavy propaganda<\/p>\n
