{"id":12809,"date":"2013-05-06T19:42:32","date_gmt":"2013-05-06T18:42:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=12809"},"modified":"2013-05-06T19:42:32","modified_gmt":"2013-05-06T18:42:32","slug":"borno-gov-salutes-security-operatives-over-mongunos-release","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/borno-gov-salutes-security-operatives-over-mongunos-release\/","title":{"rendered":"Borno Gov Salutes Security Operatives Over Monguno&#8217;s Release"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Borno State Governor, Kashim\u00a0 Shettima\u00a0 has applauded the efforts of security operatives in the state in ensuring the safe release of Elder statesman Dr. Shettima Ali Monguno.<\/p>\n<p>Monguno, was released to his family members in far away Kirenowa border village in Marte Local government, Borno state Governor, Kashim Shettima said.<\/p>\n<p>The elder statesman\u00a0 arrived home at about 12 noon yesterday amidst joy and tears as his family members and well wishers continued to express gratitude to God for his safety.<\/p>\n<p>When Governor Kashim Shettima visited to welcome him, Ali Monguno expressed gratitude to the governor and his team for their support.<\/p>\n<p>Monguno however ask his children not to cry saying\u00a0 &#8220;Please I don&#8217;t want anybody to cry over me, we&#8217;re you told I am dead? Please I am alive and nobody should shed tears for me&#8230;&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Shettima\u00a0 had immediately ordered that Monguno&#8217;s house should be sealed for 24 hours to enable him have proper rest.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters, Shettima said &#8216;I am Extremely elated over the release of our elder statesman Dr. Shettima Ali Monguno.
