{"id":128910,"date":"2026-08-11T09:29:36","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T08:29:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=128910"},"modified":"2026-08-11T09:29:36","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T08:29:36","slug":"breaking-nlc-protest-disrupts-air-peace-flight-operations-in-lagos-passengers-stranded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/breaking-nlc-protest-disrupts-air-peace-flight-operations-in-lagos-passengers-stranded\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: NLC Protest Disrupts Air Peace Flight Operations in Lagos, Passengers Stranded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>By Godswill Michael<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Passengers booked on an Air Peace flight from Lagos were thrown into confusion and frustration on Tuesday after a protest by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) disrupted flight operations at the airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The affected passengers were scheduled to depart Lagos on the 6:30 a.m. Air Peace flight, but the aircraft was unable to take off as scheduled, leaving travellers stranded at the airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The disruption caught many passengers off guard, with some expressing frustration over the uncertainty surrounding the resumption of their journey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One passenger, who was travelling out of Lagos for an important engagement, said the disruption had put the day\u2019s plans at risk.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI have a programme I am supposed to attend, and I do not even know when we will leave here. We came early enough for the flight, but now we are just waiting,\u201d the passenger told\u00a0<em>Pointblanknews.com<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another passenger said the situation was particularly frustrating because travellers had made arrangements based on the scheduled departure time.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe planned everything around the 6:30 a.m. flight.
