President Goodluck\u00a0 Jonathan, has approved the composition and appointments of the Chairmen and members of the Governing Boards of\u00a0 28 Federal Government Parastatals and Agencies.<\/p>\n
Top among the appointees are Mr. Mohammed Babangida, interim national secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Chibudom Nwuche, Senators Jonathan Zwingwina and Lee Maeba, among others.<\/p>\n
A statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, said\u00a0 membership of each Governing Board shall include all the statutory members in accordance with the laws governing parastatals and agencies.<\/p>\n
According to the statement,\u00a0 dates for the formal inauguration of the boards will be announced in due course.<\/p>\n
The constituted boards are: Nigeria Export-Import Bank, has as members Mohammed Ibrahim Babangida and\u00a0 Chief (Barr) Peter Nwaoboshi while the chairman is yet to be named.<\/p>\n
For Nigerian Agricultural, Co-operative & Rural Development Bank, Alhaji Adamu Aliyu is Chairman. The National Primary Health Care Development Agency has\u00a0 Bashari\u00a0 Aminu-Iyan Zazzau has Chairman.<\/p>\n
Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) has Dr Musa Babayo as Chairman.\u00a0 Members are Richard Anetekhai, Mustapha Ibrahim, Prof. Patricia Donli, Mrs.\u00a0 Annah M. Kolawole, Hon. Victor Bala Kona, and Chinedu Onu.<\/p>\n
Chairman of the board, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is Barr. Peter Eze. Members include Senator Sani Kamba, Mrs. Chinwe Comfort Chukwu, Dr. Hafiz Abubakar, and Alwali\u00a0 Kazir.<\/p>\n
The Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) has Dr. Femi Majekodunmi as Chairman.<\/p>\n
Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) has Col. Shehu Ibrahim [Rtd] as Chairman. Members include Alh. Bello Mohammed Dan Sumaila, Dalhatu\u00a0 Maliki,Senator Nicholas Ugbane, Engr. Deji Dohrethy, Dr. Godwin Nwabunka, and Barr. Johnson A. Abolaga.<\/p>\n
National Automotive Council has Alh. Audu Hamma Saleh as Chairman while Hon.(Engr) Raphael Ebenyi is a member.<\/p>\n
The Board of National\u00a0 Parks is chaired by Sanusi Monguno as Chairman. Mr. Solomon Eze Ali is a member.<\/p>\n
The Geological Survey\u00a0 of Nigeria Agency has Chief Eze\u00a0 Duruiheoma as Chairman while members include, Dr. Paul Mirchaulum, Engr. Sani Ndanusa, Mr. Atolagbe\u00a0 Animasaun,Aliyu Haruna\u00a0 Jani, Surv. Barr. Edoga Albert and Walter Ibibia.<\/p>\n
The Rural Electrification Agency has Senator Jonathan Zwingina as Chairman while Hon. Umar Maude Hiliya, Alh. Lawan Gara Karasuwa, Sen. Davou D. B. Zang, Engr. Biola Akinpade, Mr. Ezekiel Avwonya, Dr. Chime Jide, and Engr. Sirajo Rufai.<\/p>\n
The Nigeria Copyright Commission has Alh. Aliyu Kyari as Chairman while Dr (Bar) Paul Oredena Oweh, Mrs. Sadatu Ayitogo are members.<\/p>\n
