Sunusi lamido Sunusi, Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Sunday in the northern Nigerian city of Kano installed his wife, Sadiya as Giwa Danmaje.<\/p>\n
Though critics saw the hillarious honour to Sadiya as Sunusi’s gimmick to assuage her over recent scandals involving the larger-than-life CBN Governor in extra-marital relationships, Sunusi insisted that the honour was entirely conceived to celebrate a woman who is the “Pillar” of his life.<\/p>\n
The celebration of the Sunusi’s heralded the Majen Kano’s traditional rites for the Eid-El-Fitr.<\/p>\n
Sunusi said that the woman in his life, Sadiya, has been a pillar of stability\u00e2\u20ac\u009d on the home front, adding that \u00e2\u20ac\u0153credit goes to this woman of blue blood that proved to be a pillar of peace in all my trying periods.<\/p>\n
