{"id":17268,"date":"2013-09-16T12:41:33","date_gmt":"2013-09-16T11:41:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=17268"},"modified":"2013-09-16T12:41:33","modified_gmt":"2013-09-16T11:41:33","slug":"i-ve-no-hand-in-sale-of-enugu-disco-dame-jonathan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/i-ve-no-hand-in-sale-of-enugu-disco-dame-jonathan\/","title":{"rendered":"I \u2018ve No Hand In Sale Of Enugu Disco \u2013 Dame Jonathan."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ABUJA\u2014The office of the First Lady has denied reports in an online publication that the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, was behind the crisis in the sale of Enugu Distribution Company, saying it is \u2018speculative journalism at its worst\u2019 and should be ignored.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the publication that the First Lady, and the Vice President were behind the Enugu Disco Sale Fiasco\u201d, the Director of Information in the First Lady\u2019s office, Ayo Adesugba said there is no truth in the story.<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cWe state categorically that there is no truth or veracity whatsoever in these aforementioned statements. The First Lady is not interested and has no link whatsoever to the sale, or bending of rules, if any, for the sale of any public enterprise. The article is not only speculative and uncharitable but also extremely unfair and provocative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cThe report runs counter to the basic ethics of journalism by failing to be fair and balanced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wish to reiterate that there is no truth in the report.
