The Senator had in an interview with ThisDay Newspapers,\u00a0 on his Facebook page and other documents, indicated that he obtained a Degree in Arts\/Criminology from the Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri.<\/p>\n

Pointblanknews.com investigation at the Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri showed that the Senator representing Orlu Senatorial District never obtained a Degree from the ranking University.<\/p>\n
A group, Save Imo, had faulted claims by the Senator representing Imo West Zone at the National Assembly, that he holds two-degree certificates from a Nigerian University and another from oversea.
\nIn a statement endorsed by the Coordinator of the group, Nze Ebubeagu Ekenulo, it said findings by the organization revealed that the lawmaker\u2019s claims were unfounded.<\/p>\n

A check at the Registrars office where data of all students including those that have graduated are kept did not find the name \u201cHope Uzodinma,\u201d or any similar name.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cPlease, we don\u2019t have such name in our record. But you can also check at the National Clearing House,\u201d an official who simply gave his name as kelvin at the Registrar\u2019s office of the Washington University, told Pointblanknews.com.<\/p>\n
Pointblanknews.com also checked through official records at the National Clearing House and was told Hope Uzodinma does not exist in any of its database.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe cannot get any record with such name, I am sorry, Kerry Anderson of the National Clearing House, said to Pointblanknews.com.<\/p>\n
Senator Uzodinma has been notorious for fraudulent controversies. In 2005, Springbank Plc, lodged a complaint with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission against the Senator for fraudulent diversion and obtaining money under false pretenses.<\/p>\n
After a thorough investigation, the Commission found a prima facie case against him and filed a nine-count charge against him at the High Court of Lagos State, Ikeja Division in Charge No. ID\/82C\/2008: F.R.N V. HOPE UZODINMA.<\/p>\n
According to a petition filed by Festus Keyamo, since the charge was filed against him, he has fled from the long arms of the law and has been running from pillar to post trying to frustrate his arraignment.<\/p>\n
Also, Senator Uzodinma, a majority shareholder and the Managing Director of Transurb Technical Consult Ltd, is presently indebted to Bank PHB in the sum of N690, 000,000.00 (Six Hundred and Ninety Million Naira), not to mention her debts with other banks.<\/p>\n
As a result, there is presently a subsisting suit pending against the company at the High Court of Justice, Lagos State, Lagos Division before Justice Onyeabor.<\/p>\n
The suit is to the effect that Transurb Technical Consult Ltd be wound up and the Directors (including Chief Hope Uzodinma) be declared bankrupt as loans collected by the company have not been serviced and cannot be repaid.<\/p>\n
